Description:
The Premium Plus TM Side Wall Spray Insulation System uses
a special formulated mineral fiber wool/dry adhesive composition
in a blowable consistency and adds the right proportion of
water at the point of insertion. The addition of water activates
the adhesive to 1) provide a method of attachment to framing
members, exterior sheathing, and 2) provide fiber-to-fiber bond
that eliminates setting and sag. Installed as a system, the
insulation offers superior R-values and sound reduction through
walls, with labor and time efficiency.

Superior fire resistance-While glass fiber insulation has a melt
point of less than 1050 F, Premium Plus TM Insulation products
are made of mineral fiber, which has held up against
temperatures in excess of 2,000 F in fire tests.Heating and cooling economy-Test installations on like-kind properties have shown the Premium Plus TM insulated structure to save substantially in heating and cooling cost vs. Its glass fiber batt insulated counterpart.
Ecologically safe-Made of mineral fiber,Premium Plus TM Insulation will not absorb moisture, rot, support mildew or fungus, attract or support vermin. It also is asbestos free, non-corrosive, odor free, and contains no chemical additives.
Code recognitions-The Premium Plus TM Side Wall Spray Insulation System has been reviewed and approved by major code bodies. The system meets Southern Building Code Congress International (SBCCI) requirements for 1-hr. or 2hr.
fire ratings as shown in Compliance Report No. 9551. The system qualifies as Category 2 under ASTM C 764 Types 1 and 11, using ASTM.
